Hi Fiends!!

I have been MIA on most of social media for about…1 month? There’s a really good reason, drumroll pleeease:

I have a NEW JOB!!

aaaand I worked my butt off at this job for two weeks straight and got promoted to full time!!

At least I have time to post a quick photo. The top photo was from thanksgiving this year and while I like it, it’s what I force (and pressure myself) into dressing for the holidays with family vs when I dress with no family and am myself for the holidays 😜. In the future I hope things will change for me but parts of my family judge me HARD at xmas so I stopped seeing them years ago, it’s better to be myself than try to please people and fight with them.

You have probably been reading things like these all day, but I hope everyone will have a good new year! My xmas was uneventful but peaceful. This year wasn’t a fun year and each new daunting year can be fun and exciting for all of us. I’ll just end it here and stop blabbing >_<.

Before and After Makeup

Hi Fiends!!

I had so much fun doing some party makeup last night on a friend, here is a before and after! I love constructive critique as well!

When I finished, the sun had set and I didn’t get any close ups. These photos are better than nothing 🙂

My friend wants a vintage pin up photoshoot next! We will see how that goes, I can’t wait to try that out!

Lace Eye Makeup

Hi Fiends!!

I wanted to do a quick post of a makeup look I did today. This look took me over 1 hour because I messed up twice but loved the masqueradey black lace look I tried to achieve. I watched a great youtube video by makeup artist Sarah Maria Rosenkilde do her version of black lace eye makeup which helped me out ten fold! She is AWE-mazing!! Her video is down below, along with my photos 🙂

Tulip Body Art Paint Palette Review (Neon)

I was in the craft store the other day and decided to pick up this palette as I have taken a liking to face painting recently. I only paid $6 (it was originally $12) because I had a coupon and you bet I was glad, because this product did not deliver as much as I thought it would.

Only the top row glowed (most of the top row colors are always the brightest from UV black light paints I have found), and I needed to pack on a lot of the product (which wasn’t much to begin with for a little square) to get anything nice. I used a little tiny brush to get the ombre makeup look, I will add more photos as I use up the palette.

Basically, do NOT buy this. I would rather spend a bit more money for a professional brand and better quality, this palette would be if I had nothing else. It was very fun to experiment and have fun with, but I had to apply coats, really wet the square to pick up product etc. if kids are happy at a party then I guess it’s fine in the short term, but I plan to further my progress in face paint/body art, so I will continue searching for better products 🙂

The makeup was not perfect but neither was this product. I didn’t like how blocky my gradient looked…The swirls were meant to be organic. I liked the vibrancy of the colors though.

Quick phone selfie! My eyes are so hooded, you can’t see the color unless I lift my eyebrows up. My forehead wrinkles remind me of adorable pug puppies <3.

1950’s Glam/ Hollywood Makeup

This week I had the pleasure of doing a 1950’s inspired makeup look for my client, Lynne! We had a lot of fun together and she is a super sweetie!

This post is short and sweet, so please enjoy the photos! It felt so weird to not be doing an actual photoshoot and just makeup. When I had finished editing the few photos I was left staring at my computer thinking “that’s it..?” haha.
